what is meant by "benchmark good"for the macp promotion,is it compulsory of noting as good in Cr's file,in my Cr's file it was noted as satisfactory,can i get macp 20 years promotion,please clarify my doubt?

SATISFACTORY IS ALSO PERMISSBLE

Dear Comrade Bobby & Manish - Greetings - Please refer to Para No.17 of the of Department of Posts Orders No.4-7/(MACPS)/2009-PCC Dated 18th September 2009, which states: " The financial upgradation would be on non-functional basis subject to fitness, in the hierarchy of grade pay within the PB-1. Thereafter for upgradation under the MACPS the benchmark of 'good' would be applicable till the grade pay of Rs.6600/- in PB-3. The benchmark will be ' Very Good' for financial upgradation to the grade pay of Rs.7600 and above" - therefore if Comrade bobby's MACP is within 2800/- Grade Pay then benchmark 'good' is not necessary but if for entering into Grade Pay 4200/- to 6600/-, then as per the Para 17 above noted above, the benchmark 'good'would be applicable.

what is "benchmark good".in our circle there are 70 members are waiting for 20 & 30 years promotion out of 70 members only 12 members go the promotion according to the benchmark good,what about remaining persons.
